Monday Night Raw Results – May 29th 2023

After some highlights from Night of Champions, we are live from the MVP Arena in Albany, NY, where Seth Rollins makes his way to the ring. Pyro goes off on the stage and streamers fall from the ceiling.

Seth welcomes us to Monday Night Rollins, and says he’s a visionary, a revolutionary… He’s interrupted by loud “You deserve it” chants. …and I am World Heavyweight Champion. There are a lot of lows and highs on the road to this point. Seth says it feels right. He says he does not want to talk about the past, he wants to talk about the future. Raw has a champion who wants to be here and a champion who is here, and a champion who is ready for a fight.

Seth says he is ready for a fight and he wants a fight. He wants all of the fights. It does not matter who you are or where you come from, the result will always be the same. Me standing in the ring with the World title around his waist and the world singing his song.

AJ Styles interrupts with his music and he makes his way to the ring, even though he is a member of the Smackdown roster.

Seth pulls down his sunglasses to look at AJ and then the man who Seth beat gets a mic.

AJ says he knows he is on Smackdown, but he couldn’t resist coming to Raw to say… congratulations. AJ says he gave Seth everything he had. It was like Seth knew what he was going to do before he did it. The fans say ‘You deserve it” and AJ says Seth doesn’t deserve anything. AJ says you earned the right to be World Champion.

Seth tells AJ he is not too good at these things, but after the beating he gave AJ at Night of Champions, he says that AJ has earned ‘this’ and he offers his hand to AJ and they shake hands.

The music for The Judgment Day plays and they make their way to the ring.

Finn Balor acts like he is going to be sick and he asks if they also feel sick. Whatver this is makes him want to puke. Priest says he is feeling nauseous. He thinks they should make this positive. Rhea says they run Raw. Priest says Rhea is right, but after watching the Bloodline implode on Saturday, without a shadow of a doubt, they run the entire WWE. Finn says they beat the Undisputed Tag Team Champions, something Roman Reigns couldn’t do.

Rhea says from THE Champion to just another one, he tells Seth not to get too comfortable with that title because it is inevitable that one of them will take the title from him. Finn says it could be Priest and Priest says it could be Finn. Rhea says it could be his Dom Dom. AJ and Seth laugh at that idea. Dom tells AJ that he beat him.

Finn says they saw them beat each other half to death at Night of Champions… Dom says they are going to finish the job tonight. AJ says that sounds like they were being challenged. Seth says they accept the challenge. Any two of you versus the two of us in the Main Event.

Backstage:

Byron stops to talk to The Judgment Day and he congratulates Rhea on her victory on Saturday. Rhea says she didn’t beat Natalya, she destroyed her. That is why she isn’t here. Natalya should know better than to be distracted in a match like she was. Byron asks who will be facing Seth and AJ. Finn says if he told Byron, he would have to… Damian says they have things to do and he tells Byron to do his job somewhere else.

AJ Styles and Seth Rollins make their way to the ring as we go to another commercial.

Finn says they are here to wish them luck against Solo and Roman. Last week, you said you were done with the Bloodline, but you are back where you started. Damian says, right back being beaten up by Roman. Finn says if by some miracle, you do win, there is going to be a line of superstars waiting for you and the line starts here.

Rhea says in case you didn’t remember The Judgment Day run Raw. Sami says those are fantastic points, however, Sami says he would love to hear what Dom has to say. Sami says the people love when you talk. Dom holds up the mic to his mouth and the noise drowns him out. Kevin says we can’t hear him, so let’s punch him in the face. Rhea stands in front of Dom, and Priest punches Sami. The rest of The Judgment Day attack Kevin and Sami gets a chair to force The Judgment Day out of the ring.

Draft Picks – Round 7

Queen Sharmell and Booker T come out for our next picks:

5. RAW Selects Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn

6. SmackDown Selects The Usos

7. RAW Selects The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, Damian Priest and Dominik Mysterio)

In the Arena:

The Judgment Day make their way to the ring and they have something to say.

Priest wants everyone to rise for THE Judgment Day who are staying on Raw. He wants everyone to rise for the first draft pick from tonight, Rhea Ripley.

Rhea asks if there was any doubt who the first pick would be. She says Mami is always on top. You thought you could get rid of us? We run Raw. On Saturday, Zelina will regret everything she has done when she pretzels her and she reminds everyone how dominant she is.

Finn says that Rhea is going to take care of Zelina. Damian is going to destroy Bad Bunny.

Priest tells Bunny he wants him to listen to his words carefully. He says he chooses them carefully. He speaks in Spanish and he gets a bit worked up. He said something like “Bunny you are a great music star but inside this ring I’m the best”

Dom says he can’t wait until Mami and Priest dominate at Backlash. Just like they will dominate Santos, Zelina, and his deadbeat dad. Since the LWO is going to Smackdown, this will be the last time he gets to embarrass his dad and loser friends before they go to Smackdown.

Rey says no one is running or hiding anywhere. They were selected by Smackdown to compete on Friday. That is how the draft works. He says he is glad they are not going to be on the same brand. If you thought getting whooped at Wrestlemania with a belt was bad, wait until next time. He says he cannot wait to see Zelina leave Puerto Rico with Rhea’s belt around her waist. He says he is looking forward to seeing Bad Bunny beat Damian Priest and anyone stupid enough to get in his way. The Judgment Day is going to be smashed by the LWO.

Monday Night Raw Results – April 24th, 2023

We are live from the Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois, as Cody Rhodes makes is way to the ring to start the show.

Cody asks Chicago what do they want to talk about. He says we could talk about the WWE Draft that is mere days away, shaking up both rosters. Cody says he could go to Smackdown or he could stay on Raw. We could talk about the unenviable task in slaying Brock Lesnar at Backlash. The same Brock Lesnar who is the most decorated combat sports athlete of all time. It is so ironic that Brock would wait until his back was turned to attack him.

We take a look at photos from Raw when Brock turned on Cody.

Cody says it was one of the most humiliating beat downs he has faced. Cody says he wants to show something else. Cody takes off his jacket and his shirt and he tosses his tie and shirt into the crowd. Cody wants everyone to see the scar on his pectoral and he points out that this is the first time back in this arena since Hell in a Cell. Cody says the match had a heroic spin and he has not watched the match again. Cody tells Brock to pick a spot and put another scar on him. Cody says that scar is the same one he was able to beat inside Hell in a Cell.

He says the reason he does not give it a heroic moment. He says he didn’t do anything that night. He had a sold out arena prop him up on their shoulders and carry him to the finish line. Cody says he was in the most pain in his life. He says if he does not get the chance to say it, he wanted to tell the people of Chicago, from the bottom of his heart, thank you very much.

Finn Balor’s music plays and he interrupts. He says he hates to break up the party. We all have scars. That isn’t why he is here. Finn says he saw what happened to Cody at Wrestlemania. You had Roman beat and you got screwed. Finn says he knows how Cody feels. The question is why did you get screwed. You didn’t have anyone to have your back. That is why you accepted Brock’s offer to be your tag team partner. You trusted the wrong man. You need to be smarter, like him. Finn says you are facing the Beast all beaten and bruised. This is a match you can’t win. Not on your own.

Cody stops Finn and he says he was under the impression that there was respect. He says Brock is the only thing on his mind. He respectfully tells Finn whatever he is selling, Cody is not buying.

Finn says if Cody respects him, Cody will listen to what he has to say. Everyone knows that Cody Rhodes in The Judgment Day would be unstoppable. Rhea Ripley, Smackdown Women’s Champion. Damian Priest put the biggest star in the music industry through that table. Dominik Mysterio, he has already proven that he is far greater than his legendary father.
