The bell rings, and the crowd is already buzzing. They lock up, and Balor powers him to the corner before tapping the chest. Cena just stares at him. A “Let’s go Balor” chant fires up. Cena just smiles and says, “ok.” Balor goes for a waistlock, but Cena gets out and wrenches the arm. Cena takes him down and works the arm. Apparently a beach ball has come out in the crowd because no one is looking at the ring. They just stay in the test of strength until the crowd eventually starts paying attention. Balor gets out and rolls him up for a near fall. Cena then punches him down.

We come back from the break to see Cena reverse a whip and knock Balor down. Cena hits a scoop slam for a near fall. Cena viciously whips him into the corner, and Balor collapses to the mat. A “Let’s go Balor” chant picks up. Cena picks up him for an AA, but Balor slides off. They get into an exchange of “Yay/Boo” punches. Cena then just kicks him down. Cena connects with a 5 Knuckle Shuffle with no theatrics and goes for an AA, but Balor gets out and hits an overhead kick for a near fall. Balor surprises him with a Sling Blade and waits for Cena to get up. Balor goes for a running dropkick, but Cena stuns him with a clothesline. Cena takes a few moments to get up and runs into a boot. Cena catches him attempting a Sling Blade and counters into an Attitude Adjustment for a near fall! Cena looks frustrated. Cena gets on the apron and seems to be getting frustrated with the crowd. Cena says he’s just trying to go to WrestleMania. Cena goes to the top rope, but Balor kicks him down and hits a running dropkick. Balor goes for a Coup de Gras, but Cena moves and applies an STF! Balor eventually claws his way to the bottom rope. Balor catches Cena with a kick to the face before going to the top rope. Cena cuts him off and hits a second rope AA for the win!

Rusev and Finn Balor entered No. 1 and No. 2 respectively.

Balor ousted Baron Corbin and The Lone Wolfe responded by laying out both Rusev and Balor. Elias sang a song before going to battle. Tye Dillinger didn’t a chance to enter at No. 10 as Owens blindsided him and Zayn stole his spot.

Nakamura, Balor, Cena and Reigns represented the Rumble’s final four. Cena ousted Balor, Nakamura took out Cena and Nakamura was the last man standing after eliminating Reigns.

Nakamura wins the Royal Rumble match by last eliminating Reigns.

AJ Styles vs. Finn Balor
Electric atmosphere to start as they face off before the bell. Collar and elbow, pushing each other around the ring, but Balor breaks clean. Circling, back to the lockup and Finn gets a side headlock, takeover, AJ shoots him off, shoulder block and they stalemate. Test of strength, Balor fakes out to waistlock, standing switch, again, Styles escapes with a fireman’s carry takeover, trading headlocks for headscissors and again they stalemate!

Circling again, Finn in with a kidney shot, leapfrog, drop down, dropkick and AJ wipes him out! Lariat dodged, the enzuigiri connects and he takes the Phenomenal One down, setting up a Romero Special. Both legs in, arms one at a time and he rolls back into the full hold! Adjusting back down, adding a rear chinlock for a moment before he lets go and deathlocks the legs.

Styles is right near the ropes, however, and easily breaks. Jawbreaker connects, big chop, whip reversed, AJ gets a sunset flip but the Demon counters immediately with a dropkick! Styles to the outside and back in in time to counter a dive with a forearm smash! Off the ropes for a knee drop, a cover gets two and Balor gets back into it throwing hands. Whip across, AJ lands a kick and slingshots back in with a forearm… NOPE!

Running backbreaker, chest kick, Finn on the back foot here as they transition into slugging it out with forearms. Styles cuts the exchange early with a kick and a cover before backing the Demon into the corner with a palm strike. Back in the center of the ring, Balor throws hands and backs AJ off into the corner, kicking away. Break made, Styles lands a kick and big chop before going corner-to-corner with chops.

Whip across, up and cover and Finn returns the favor with a chop of his own! A flurry of punches into another chop, whip across, charging chop, whip reversed twice, Styles up top and Balor knocks him to the floor with a gamengiri! Off the ropes… TOPE CON GIRO! Back inside, the Sling Blade connects and Finn lies in wait only to charge right into Ushigoroshi!

Calling for the Styles Clash, Balor floats out but AJ catches him with the back suplex facebuster anyway and gets a tight nearfall out of it! Finn gets a stomp off and follows it up with repeated slingshot stomps near the ropes, referee Chad Patton warning him away from pushing it too far. Hesitation dropkick, thinking 1916 but Styles reverses to the Calf Killer!

Balor crawls, desperate, trying to get to the ropes but AJ rolls him through and locks it back on! Finn breaks it by smashing Styles’ head into the mat over and over but the damage is done and both men are slow to get up. AJ charges in, gets set on the apron, thinking Phenomenal Forearm but the Demon shoves him to the floor! Penalty Kick off the apron follows, and the shotgun dropkick puts the Phenomenal One into the barricade!

Patton counting and Balor warns him to stop before heading to collect AJ… STYLES WITH A DOUBLE LEG PICKUP OVER THE GERMAN ANNOUNCE TABLE! Back inside in time to beat the count, off the ropes… DOUBLE CROSSBODY! Back up… DOUBLE LARIAT! Slowly, inexorably to their feet and they go forearm for forearm in the center of the ring. Styles mixes it up, Styles Rush but Balor lands a Pele kick!

AJ is on dream street but Finn is still favoring his leg. 1916 blocked, AJ thinking Bloody Sunday, reversed, Balor trying the inverted 1916, no good but he gets an inverted headlock elbow drop, inverted 1916… NO GOOD! Shotgun dropkick but the leg is hurting! Finn climbs up top… PELE KICK! Styles heads to the apron… SPRINGBOARD AVALANCHE FRANKENSTEINER! NOT ENOUGH!

Balor down and out, AJ to the apron again, springboard 450 splash… NOBODY HOME! HUGE lariat from the Demon! Shotgun dropkick, Balor climbs up top…

Finn Balor wins by pinfall with Coup de Grace.

After the match, Finn helps AJ to his feet and they Too Sweet, as any two Good Brothers should.

Finn Balor

While you might know him as Prince Devitt“The Real Rock ‘n’ Rolla” or “The Real Shooter”, one thing’s for sure: Finn Bálor will offer the WWE Universe something they’ve never seen before. Born and raised in Bray, County Wicklow, Ireland; Finn is not your average WWE superstar as he brings the wrestling experience of a man who competed in places like Mexico, the UK and Japan. He might not be the “Prince” anymore, but that won’t stop Finn Bálor from claiming his throne in the WWE as the resident Demon King on the SmackDown brand.
