Drew McIntyre vs. Finn Balor

Collar and elbow, McIntyre backing him into the corner and breaking with a forearm when referee John Cone demands it but Balor ducks and throws a chop that does nothing! Drew hammers him with strikes, stomps his hand, whip across into a front kick but Finn floats out of a slam. Leg kicks, cut off, McIntyre stomping the legs, big chop in the corner but Balor slips away and takes his leg out at the knee with a dropkick!

Drew hosses him into the corner off a front chancery, setting him up top and joining him, jawing, Balor slips out and kicks his leg out from under him and stomps away at the knee for good measure! To the apron, up top but McIntyre grabs him and belly-to-belly suplexes him across the ring! Kneeling on him, forearm connects, demanding that Finn fight back and fending off a sunset flip before hitting another huge belly-to-belly suplex!

Following it up with a kneeling armbar, Balor slips out, more leg kicks and Drew gets a twisting suplex for two! Back to the kneeling armbar but Finn rallies in the corner. Flying forearms, double leg denied, powerbomb lift, float over, double leg into the double stomp! Charging chop, up and over, off the ropes, satellite DDT! Off the ropes… TOPE CON GIRO!

Back inside, Sling Blade begets a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker and Drew gets a nearfall out of it! Rolling solebutt, inverted Alabama Slam reversed to a victory roll pin for two! Enzuigiri from the apron, headed up top, jockeying for position… AVALANCHE AIR RAID CRASH CAN’T PUT FINN AWAY! Dumping Balor to the floor, when he follows Finn traps him in the ring skirt and goes a-stomping, shades of Roderick Strong at Evolve 38!

Looking to put the exclamation point on it and Drew trips him face-first into the corner of the ring! Big headbutt to follow, throwing Balor back inside… AND DOLPH ZIGGLER’S HERE WITH A SUPERKICK WHILE REFEREE JOHN CONE IS OCCUPIED! He gets a chair but McIntyre kicks it into his face and throws him inside! Smashing the chair into the ringpost, but when he comes back inside…

Finn Balor wins by pinfall with the Coup de Grace.

Backstage, Finn Balor is interviewed.

He says he doesn’t know what Dolph was doing out there and speak of the devil, he rolls up and tells Finn he didn’t have a chance. Balor tells him to keep his nose out of his business and Ziggler attacks, throwing him over some road cases!

Team RAW vs. Team SmackDown

The first guy out was Samoa Joe from the SmackDown side, who fell to a Claymore from Drew McIntyre.

The action completely broke down from here, notably when Strowman went after McIntyre after some verbal sniping. In the end, Strowman ended up taking offense from everywhere, including an elbow from Shane McMahon through the announcer’s desk.

McIntrye was hated by his entire team, and that led to multiple attacks. Finn Balor was one of those, and he ended up taken out by Rey Mysterio. There was a ton of action both in and outside of the ring, with bodies everywhere.

Next out was Dolph Ziggler, who was pinned by none other than Shane O’Mac. Hey, he’s the Best in the World, and no one knows that better than Ziggler, right?

The moment of the match came just after, when Strowman showed up out of nowhere and clotheslined McMahon as he was trying to hit Coast-to-Coast on Lashley. He got into the match shortly after and eliminated Jeff Hardy, who had tagged in. Mysterio came in next and he also fell to the powerslam.

Lashley, McIntyre, and Strowman were left on the Raw side while SmackDown was down to just Miz and a beat up McMahon.

That went to a 3-on-1 advantage when Miz was also taken out with the powerslam.

Only Shane left.

T-Rex dropkick.

Corner splash.

Running powerslam.

Pin.

Team Raw wins, with three survivors, and they go up 4-0.

Shotgun dropkick into the barricade and the action heads back inside. Enzuigiri from the apron, up top, diving double stomp to the back of the neck! Shotgun dropkick, headed up top…

Ladder match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship: Seth Rollins vs. Finn Bálor vs. Samoa Joe vs. The Miz

Rollins and Joe go at it while Miz and Balor engage to get the match started. Joe ends up as the last man standing, but The Architect quickly recovers and hits a blockbuster to Joe and Miz at the same time. Seth hits a couple of precision suicide dives before grabbing a ladder. Joe ends up tripping Rollins into a ladder for the first painful spot of the match.

Balor drops Joe on the ladder to get a little pop from the crowd. He sets it up and begins to climb. Miz pulls him down and kicks him in the face. Balor and Rollins fight over the ladder until they end up on opposite sides. Miz and Joe come in and tip it over to take them out. Joe turns on Miz and sets up a ladder in the corner. It falls down, so he slams Balor on top of it. Finn hits a sling blade and a dropkick into the ladder to take control. He climbs to the top rope and Seth meets him up there. Joe grabs them and turns it into a tower of doom.

Samoa Joe takes a Skull Crushing Finale right onto the ladder and rolls out of the ring. Rollins meets Miz on top of the ladder and both men reach for the belt. They fight until Miz knocks Seth down. Miz is a one-man wrecking crew as he takes out Balor and Rollins with some of his signature moves. Balor kicks Miz and he lands on the ladder. Finn hits the Coup de Grace while Miz lays on the ladder before setting it up and beginning to climb. Joe runs in and rips him down.

Joe plants Finn with an urinagi. He climbs up the ladder but Balor tips it over and he hits the top rope. Rollins springboards onto the ladder and grabs the title before Balor can reach it to retain in one of the better Ladder match endings we have seen in recent memory.

Winner: Seth Rollins

Finn Balor

While you might know him as Prince Devitt“The Real Rock ‘n’ Rolla” or “The Real Shooter”, one thing’s for sure: Finn Bálor will offer the WWE Universe something they’ve never seen before. Born and raised in Bray, County Wicklow, Ireland; Finn is not your average WWE superstar as he brings the wrestling experience of a man who competed in places like Mexico, the UK and Japan. He might not be the “Prince” anymore, but that won’t stop Finn Bálor from claiming his throne in the WWE as the resident Demon King on the SmackDown brand.
