Kurt Angle is backstage on the phone talking to someone about the women’s Royal Rumble match when Finn Balor walks up. Balor talks about the WWE Universal Title and wanting to get it back. Balor announces himself for the Royal Rumble match. Angle asks Balor if he’s found partners for tonight’s six-man match against The Miztourage and Elias. Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson appear. Angle asks if Balor is serious. Balor says he’s stood with these guys before and it’s much better having them on your side. It sounds like fans in the arena are doing a “too sweet” chant. The Club does a “NERDS!” shout out before walking out.

Elias, Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel vs. Finn Bálor, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson

Back from the break and Elias is in the ring with a spotlight and his guitar. He talks about how WWE is his after what he did to John Cena last week. He goes on about winning the Royal Rumble and introduces his band mates for tonight, The Miztourage. They dedicate the song to The Miz, who will be returning next week. Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas start singing as Elias plays and it’s horrible. Elias takes over but he’s interrupted by Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson. Finn Balor is out next. They pose together in the ring with a “too sweet” as we go back to commercial.

Back from the break and Axel works over Balor. Elias tags in and unloads on Finn. Elias dominates Balor and covers for a 2 count. Elias keeps Balor grounded and talks some trash while working on his arm. Balor finally gets in a double stomp to turn it around. Gallows tags in and unloads on Dallas as he also tags in. Gallows with a big boot and a running splash in the corner. Gallows turns Dallas inside out with a big boot. Gallows runs the ropes and nails a splash in the corner.

Axel runs in but Gallows drops him and sends him to the floor. Gallows runs the ropes and hits a splash for a 2 count. Elias breaks it up. Anderson takes care of Elias and runs him into the ring post. Gallows goes back to work on Dallas. The finish sees Anderson tag in for a Magic Killer on Dallas. Balor tags in and hits a Coup de Grace on Dallas while Anderson leaps out onto Axel on the floor. Balor pins Dallas for the win.

Winners: Finn Bálor, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson

After the match, The Club stands tall as we return to commercial.

Back from the break and Curt Hawkins is in the ring. He says usually he’d be out here telling us to face the facts but he’s telling himself that tonight. He says he’s the first to admit that 2017 hasn’t been good to his win/loss record but the year isn’t over yet and he feels a Christmas miracle coming tonight. Hawkins issues an open challenge and says he has 2 lumps of coal for whoever wants to come down his chimney into his living room. Hawkins says the 146 match losing streak comes to an end tonight. The music hits and out comes Finn Balor to a pop.

Finn Bálor vs. Curt Hawkins

The bell rings and Hawkins goes right to work on Balor. Balor catches Hawkins with boots to the face and turns it around to a pop.

Hawkins ducks a shot in the corner and rolls Balor up for a 2 count. Hawkins tangles with Balor and goes for another roll-up for 2. Hawkins with more minor offense and another quick pin attempt. Hawkins is frustrated. Balor takes Hawkins down and hits a double stomp for a pop. Balor with a Slingblade now.

Balor dropkicks Hawkins back into the corner as fans continue to cheer him on. Balor goes to the top and nails Coup de Grace for the easy win.

Winner: Finn Bálor

After the match, Balor stands tall as his music hits. We go to replays.

Finn Bálor vs. The Miztourage

We go to the ring and out comes Finn Balor. We go back to commercial as he hits the ring.

Back from the break and out comes Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel, who Balor has defeated in singles action over the past few weeks. Bo starts off with Balor but Balor shows him up when he tries to charge. Axel talks trash to Balor from the apron. Bo and Balor look to do a test of strength but Bo tries to pull Balor into their corner. Axel tags in.

Axel and Balor lock up. Axel tries to overpower Balor into their corner but Balor counters and breaks away. They lock up again. Axel with an elbow to the face. Axel takes Balor to the corner and unloads with shoulders. Dallas tags in and unloads with stomps. Axel tags back in and stomps away while Balor is down. The referee warns him. Fans boo Axel as he stands tall. Balor gets up and fights both of them off, coming out of the corner, but Axel shuts him down and turns it back around. Axel with a sunset flip but Balor nails a basement dropkick for a 2 count. Balor keeps Axel grounded now.

Axel ends up taking advantage of a distraction and dropping Balor. It looks like Balor has a busted nose as he is bleeding. Axel unloads on Balor and takes him back to the corner. Bo tags back in and drops Balor with a clothesline for a 2 count. Bo keeps Balor grounded now. Bo tells the fans to shut up and sends Balor to the corner. Balor finally gets some momentum going on Bo. Balor with a double stomp to the chest for a 2 count as Axel breaks the pin. Axel unloads on Balor before the referee backs him out.

Axel tags back in and takes Balor to the top. Axel wastes too much time and Balor sends him to the mat. Balor goes for the Coup de Grace but Bo runs over and knocks him off to the mat. Bo comes into the ring and joins in on a double team while Balor is down.

Winner: Finn Bálor (DQ)

After the match, The Miztourage double teams Balor and talks some trash. WWE NXT Superstar Hideo Itami’s music hits and out he comes to make the save. Itami unloads on Axel with kicks, then Dallas. Itami and Balor clear the ring as fans cheer. We go to commercial.

Finn Bálor vs. Curtis Axel

We go to the ring and out comes Finn Balor to a pop. We go to commercial.

Axel removes his neck brace and then Bo and Axel attack Balor. Axel with forearms to Balor and the referee warns him and holds Axel back as he checks on Balor to see if he is ready.

Axel with forearms as the bell rings and then Axel with a snap mare and leap frog neck snap. Axel with an arm bar and chin lock. Axel with a knee to the back and he applies a rear chin lock. Balor with a jaw breaker and he avoids a splash by Axel. Balor with a chop followed by slingblade and then he hits the running drop kick and Balor goes up top. Balor with the Coup De Grace while showing no remorse about whether he might have reinjured Axel’s neck. Balor gets the three count.

Winner: Finn Bálor
