Country Dominance vs. B’n’B

They did the usual pre-match posturing, with Bobby Lashley posing and Lio Rush being annoying and all that jazz. The match started with Mickie James and Bayley going back-and-forth until they both jumped to tag their respective partners in. Lashley took control and was dominant while James was ripping Bayley off the apron so Balor couldn’t tag out. That only lasted so long, however, and eventually he got to her. It was her turn to get in and run wild.

 

She had the edge for a time, but James came back. When Bayley overtook her once more and it looked like she was going to score the win, Lio Rush interfered. That brought Finn back in and he took the guys out to give Bayley time to hit Bayley-to-Belly on James to score the pinfall and the victory.

Bayley and Finn Bálor vs. Mickie James and Bobby Lashley

The women start things off and lock up. Mickie with a wrist lock but Bayley with a reversal. Bayley with an arm wringer but Mickie with an Irish whip. Mickie misses a charge but Mickie with a rana. Bayley avoids a drop kick and gets a near fall with a rollup. Bayley with another rollup for a near fall. Mickie holds on to the ropes on an O’Connor Roll attempt and Lashley tags in. Lashley poses for the people of Manchester and then he poses for Balor. Lashley continues to pose and Balor does not appear impressed. Finn goes to the turnbuckles to pose and Lashley pulls Finn off the turnbuckles.

Lashley with forrearms to the back and he poses. Lashley chokes Balor in the ropes. Balor with a drop kick and Balor poses. Lashley is sent to the floor by Balor and then Rush is sent to the floor. Balor is tripped by MIckie and Lashley hits Balor from behind. Lashley with boots to the back. Lashley starts to work on the back. Lashley with a nerve hold. Lashley with a knee to the midsection followed by an Irish whip. Bayley distracts Lashley long enough to allow Balor to get his boots up. Lashley catches Balor when he tries for the tag and Lashley runs Balor into the turnbuckles. Balor moves when Lashley goes for a splash.

Bayley tags in and connects with clotheslines. Mickie sends Bayley into the turnbuckles and Bayley with a hot shot. Bayley with a shoulder into the turnbuckles and then she hits a running knee into the corner. Bayley sends Mickie to the apron for a cutter in the ropes. Bayley runs into a super kick from Mickie and Balor breaks up the cover. Balor with a forearm to Lashley but Lashley gets Balor up for a slam and Balor escapes. Balor with slingblade and then he sends Lashley into the ring post.

Rush gets in the ring and Balor chases after Rush and after a few laps, Rush goes into the ring and then he hits the turnbuckles when Balor moves. Balor goes up top and Lashley pushes Balor off the turnbuckles before Balor can hit Coup de Grace on Rush. Bayley gives Rush a belly-to-belly suplex. Mickie with a thrust kick and she hits the MickDT for the three count.

Winners: Bobby Lashley and Mickie James

Team Pawz vs. B’n’B

Bayley didn’t get her own entrance, instead coming out to Balor’s music but with the Bayley buddies. They really do work as the happy tag team.

They were very complimentary before the match. Nattie complimented Bayley and Balor kindly suggested to Roode that they start the action off. Bobby agreed. They exchanged jackets, and Roode had a hell of a time getting into the black leather. He worked the gimmick, giving Finn a Too Sweet to the forehead. So Balor did the “GLORIOUS” bit and then attacked while Bobby was trying to get his jacket off.

Bobby never could get it off, so he tagged Nattie in to go work on that on the outside.

Bayley and Natalya wrestled, until it was time for Roode and Balor to get in and wrestle. They did the customary backstage shot of another team, this time Naomi and Jimmy Uso, who were bickering.

Back in the ring and Bayley celebrated taking Nattie out by running around and shouting. She was going to hug Finn but Natalya pulled her out of the ring and that set up a couple false finishes from a recovered Roode. Bobby’s “Glorious” stuff isn’t nearly as over as it once was.

Anyway, Roode went up top but it backfired and Balor ultimately hit Coup de Grace for the three count.

Bayley and Finn Bálor vs. Ember Moon and Braun Strowman

Balor suggests that Bayley start things off and she is okay with that. They lock up and Ember with a side head lock and shoulder tackle. Ember lands on her feet on a hip toss attempt. Bayley with an elbow and running shoulder tackle. Bayley with a clothesline. Braun tags in and that brings in Balor. Balor with kicks to the leg and he avoids Strowman and continues to kick him in the leg. Balor with an enzuigiri from the apron. Balor avoids a splash in the corner and then Balor passes Bayley into a head scissors on Moon. Balor with a flying forearm but Braun stays on his feet. Braun with a forearm across the chest.

Braun works on the head, trying to compress Balor’s skull. Braun with a rear chin lock after ignoring the action because R Truth was talking in the back about Ric Flair and Carmella reminds Truth he is part of the match tonight. Braun with a shoulder tackle for a near fall. Braun has some words for Bayley and then he kicks Balor in the ribs. Braun with a hard Irish whip. Braun with an elbow to the back of the head but Balor with a punch. Braun with a head butt. Braun picks up Balor but Balor escapes and he tries for a double leg take down but Braun does not go down.

Balor tries to make the tag but Braun stops him. Braun with an Irish whip but he runs into boots from Balor. Braun runs Balor into a neutral corner. Braun charges into the corner but Balor moves and Balor tags in Bayley. Ember misses a drop kick and Bayley with clotheslines and then she hits a cutter in the ropes. Bayley floats over but Ember catches Bayley and hits a gutbuster. Ember with a running hip strike in the corner. Bayley with a knee into the corner and then she mises a clothesline. Ember with a springboard cross body for a near fall.

Bayley boxes the ears and then hits a running knee to the temple and Bayley gets a near fall. Ember and Bayley with forearms. Ember with a series of kicks and an enzuigiri. Ember goes up top but Bayley pulls Ember off the turnbuckles. Bayley blocks a kick and hits a belly-to-belly suplex but Braun pulls Ember to the floor to break up the count. Braun tags in and he mises a splash into the corner and hits the ring post shoulder first. Balor goes up top and hits a double stomp to the back. Balor goes up top for Coup de Grace but Braun gets up. Bayley with a cross body to Ember off the steps but Braun with a power slam for the three count.

Winners: Braun Strowman and Ember Moon

Bayley and Finn Bálor vs. Alicia Fox and Jinder Mahal (with Sunil Singh)

Alicia and Bayley start things off but Alicia wants a piece of Balor because she apparently forgot the rules of the contest. Alicia calls Finn a chicken and Bayley with a rollup for a near fall. Bayley gets another near fall and then Alicia backs into the corner and tags Jinder into the match. They lock up and Balor with a waist lock but Mahal with a back elbow and side head lock take down. Mahal with a take down into a reverse chin lock. Balor with arm drags into an arm bar. Mahal with a knee to the midsection. Mahal goes for a sunset flip but Balor rolls through and hits a drop kick because you don’t give Balor a sunset flip.

Alicia tags in and Bayley with a waist lock. Alicia with an elbow. Bayley with an Irish whip but Alicia floats over and gets a near fall with a sunset flip. Bayley with an elbow. Bayley runs Alicia into the corner and connects with elbows. Bayley with an elbow in the corner. Alicia sends Bayley to the apron and knocks Bayley off the apron with a forearm and Sunil catches her. Alicia gets jealous and sends Bayley into the ring post.

Alicia sends Bayley into the ring and hits a neck breaker for a near fall. Alicia with a forearm but Bayley with a hot shot onto the turnbuckle. Alicia with a knee to the back to stop Bayley from making the tag. Alicia with a reverse chin lock. Bayley kicks Alicia away in the corner but Alicia goes for a power bomb and Bayley counters with a back body drop. Bayley goes for the tag and makes it. Balor with forearms to Mahal followed by an elbow. Balor with a flying forearm. Balor with a running chop into the corner. Mahal with an Irish whip and Balor floats over but runs into a thrust kick. Balor with an enzuigiri to knock Mahal off the turnbuckles. Balor with slingblade and then he sets for the running drop kick and hits it.

Balor goes to the turnbuckles for Coup de Grace but Alicis shakes the ropes and it eventually crotches Balor. Mahal tags in and Bayley with a Thesz Press and punches. Bayley with a knee into the corner and she goes up top. Bayley with a cross body and she gets a near fall. Bayley sends Alicia to the apron for a cutter in the ropes. Bayley with a baseball slide that hits Alicia and Sunil. Alicia chases Sunil and Bayley with a belly-to-belly suplex on Sunil. Bayley sends Alicia to the floor. Balor with a plancha onto Mahal and Singh. Bayley with a belly-to-belly suplex on Alicia for the three count.

Winners: Bayley and Finn Bálor

Next week, Braun Strowman and Ember Moon will face Bayley and Finn Bálor in the Raw match.

Becky Lynch and Bobby Roode vs. Sasha Banks and Finn Balor

During Roode’s entrance, Becky mirrored all of Roode’s movements. Roode and Balor starting out with a bit of a stalemate. Roode with a glorious taunt and gets a “too sweet” to the forehead. Both Becky and Sasha want in the ring now. Things get a little heated between the two when Bayley is brought up. Becky does Bayley’s taunt and they two swing away at each other. Balor tags in and in comes Roode who tries for a glorious DDT early on, nope, Balor with a cover, two.

Balor brings out a flurry of kicks to drop Roode. Becky and Sasha rallying their partners to get back in the match. Banks with running double knees, cover, two. Becky rallies, near fall. Sasha with a roll-up, two, kick. Sasha charges into the corner, gets booted by Becky. Sasha heads up to the top rope, Becky follows her up and swings away. Superplex off the second rope!

Balor and Roode back in, Balor goes to work finishes with a double stomp. Balor drops Roode, cover, Becky breaks up the pin. Roode tries for the glorious DDT, gets shoved into the corner, Roode up and hits a blockbuster, cover, two. Slingblade by Balor, wants to finish it off, but Sasha wants in and hits double knees on Becky. Becky than lands a suicide dive on Roode. Balor with a dropkick to Roode into the barricade. Sasha heads in to finish off Sasha and Becky with the sneak roll-up for the win.

Winner: Becky Lynch and Bobby Roode via Pinfall (Advance to the finals)

Post-Match, Sasha and Balor are shocked at the loss. Roode and Becky celebrate in the ring.
