At WWE No Mercy, Finn Bálor — not The Demon — will lock up with Bray Wyatt in a “man-to-man” confrontation that could potentially play out far differently than their battle at SummerSlam.

Can Bálor prove his dominance over the twisted Eater of Worlds without the aid of his Demon persona, or will Wyatt silence Bálor Club by conquering the Irishman?

Don’t miss Raw at 8/7 C on USA Network!

Balor tells Omaha that this is Balor Club. Finn says the NXT Championship used to look real good around his waist. The Universal Title used to look real good around that waist. The Intercontinental Title would have looked good around this waist if it weren’t for Bray Wyatt. When Bray appeared in the battle royal, it cost him the opportunity to challenge the Miz. While he may have been victorious at SummerSlam, you don’t truly beat someone like Bray Wyatt. They appear when you least expect him. The next time you appear, he will be ready.

Balor says he has chosen his fate and he is not afraid. Finn says he does not run from his demons because sometimes, he becomes one. If you want to continue to play games week after week, let’s play.

The lights go out and Bray appears on the TitanTron. Bray says he remembers going fishing when he was young. Bray says after a while, he got bored and it just became too easy. Bray says he decided he wanted to shake things up and he put his weapon down and he started to use his hands, just his hands. His hands became judge, jury, and executioner. Bray says he showed no mercy. When he had the chance to end that pathetic existence, he made the choice and that choice defined him. Bray says he knew what his purpose was. You were victorious at SummerSlam. The Demon won. That is your bow and arrow. Bray wants Finn to face him man to man and show him no mercy. Bray tells Finn to define your legacy. Bray tells Finn to make a choice.

Finn says he has made his choice and he is Finn Balor.

Bray says there he is, the confident hero they all dream of becoming. The question remains, can a mere mortal topple a god or will you just be like the others, running around like a scared rabbit. He tells Finn to run. We go to commercial.

The show opens with Miz, Maryse, and the Miztourage of Bo Dallas & Curtis Axel in the ring.

Miz begins to speak and is immediately cut off by Raw GM Kurt Angle making his entrance. He thinks he knows what Miz is going to say, and his perception is that the status of the Intercontinental Championship has been diminished. It wasn’t defended at SummerSlam, but it will be at No Mercy, and his opponent–

The A-Lister cuts him off and continues where he left off, defining “respect” according to the dictionary and telling Kurt that he doesn’t understand what respect means. Understand that it’s a disrespect to him when he comes out and interrupts what he has to say, and a disrespect to the Intercontinental Championship.

Angle says he’s here to give the title the showcase it does deserve, and next week he’ll defend the title against the winner of a #1 contender’s battle royal that’s going to start right now!

Big Show’s in it, totally clean-shaven and terrifying. The Hardy Boyz come down, they’re in it as well. Finn Balor, too. The match will begin after the break.

15-Man WWE United States Championship #1 Contender’s Battle Royal

Curt Hawkins poses and immediately gets dumped by literally everyone else in the match. They then turn to Big Show, who’s game for them to try and proceeds to throw everybody off like the giant he is. The match breaks down into normal battle royal action from there, the Miztourage dumping Kalisto, Finn working the Drifter over in the corner as the Club and the Hardyz clash.

Show caving everybody’s chests in with overhand chops but Karl Anderson is looking to put him to sleep. The giant shrugs him off but Luke Gallows and Finn Balor assist him in dumping Big outside and eliminating him! The Club riding high together, baby! Elias and Balor into it with each other again, Matt Hardy looking to dump Jeff Hardy at the same time as the Miztourage dump R-Truth and eliminate him!

Goldust nearly eliminates Jordan, Axel and Dallas have Balor of the ropes and the Drifter comes to help but Balor stays in there. Again Elias goes after Finn but Goldust of all people makes the save and drops him with a snap scoop powerslam. Anderson with the inverted Gun Stun, Big Hoot with the slicing right and a low bridge eliminates Goldust to send us to break.

Back from commercial, the battle royal rages on,Jordan trying to eliminate the Drifter while the Hardyz and the Club fight it out and the Miztourage tries to dump Finn. Gallows blocks a Twist of Fate but gets low bridged and eliminated! Anderson thinks he’s got Matt dumped but Hardy lands on the apron and pulls him out with him!

Slugging it out on the apron, Twist of Fate denied but Matt puts Anderson into the ringpost and eliminates him! Luke eliminates Matt in return and the Club put the boots to him. With the referees distracted, Miz saves Bo! The Miztourage in it with Jason, Finn heads to the apron for a moment to clock Axel, picking up a head of steam before taking it to Elias and nearly eliminating him with a gamengiri!

Balor taking all comers, shotgun dropkick on Bo, Sling Blade on Jordan, a face off with Jeff Hardy but he starts rolling in return, Manhattan Drop to the basement dropkick, Twist of Fate denied and Finn plants him with a Sling Blade! Shotgun dropkick puts Dallas in the corner, one for Brother Nero as well–

Bray Wyatt eliminates Finn Balor!

Miztourage arebeating on Jordan but he stacks ’em up for a shoulder block, overhead belly-to-belly suplexes for the Drifter and Jeff! Miztourage double team him but he evades them and dumps both of them! He dumps Elias too! Jeff comes from behind…

Jeff Hardy wins, last eliminating Jason Jordan over the top rope and becoming #1 contender to the WWE Intercontinental Championship.

Finn Balor vs. Jason Jordan
Circling, Jordan going low before going behind on a collar and elbow, waistlock takedown, gator roll around and back into a pin that doesn’t quite get a one count. Balor goes behind, standing switches end in Jason getting another waistlock takedown into a fireman’s carry takeover and a pin but Finn finds sanctuary in the ropes and forces the break.

Jordan hosses him into the middle of the ring, side headlock, Balor shoots him off, drop down, leapfrog, Finn with a dropkick. Jason offers a handshake but Balor isn’t having it, snapmare to a kick, reverse chinlock applied to grind Kurt Angle’s son down. Reversed to a waistlock, up to a side headlock, Balor shoots him off, drop down but Jason catches the leapfrog into a twisting spinebuster for a nearfall!

Lying in wait, Finn ducks a lariat and clotheslines Jordan outside to set up the Penalty Kick off the apron but Jason has it scouted and we go to break.

Back from commercial, Balor in control and circling, kicking Jordan’s leg out of his leg but Jason manages to catch a kick and level him with a lariat. Waistlock takedown into an elbow drop to the back, Jordan does it again into a two count cover, butterfly suplex follows and gets another nearfall for the son of Kurt Angle.

Butterfly lock applied, wrenching it in as Finn fires up and tries to fight out, Balor gets to his feet and Jason lands a knee. Trying to get him up for the suplex, Finn blocks, escapes with a back body drop, dropkick to the face gets some separation. Boots up in the corner, charging forearms into a basement dropkick, keeping Jordan off balance.

Charging chop, whip across for another, Balor dumps him outside, dropkick through the ropes and here comes the apron Penalty Kick! Bringing him back in the ring, Jordan blocks the Sling Blade and counters to a belly-to-belly suplex! Jason fired up, the straps are down, charging shoulder block sets up the back suplex neckbreaker but Balor counters to a crossbody for two!

Pele kick wipes both guys out, Finn looking to capitalize first but Jordan takes him corner to corner, slamming his back into the turnbuckles! Charging in, Balor connects with a boot and the Sling Blade works this time, shotgun dropkick, Finn repositions him and climbs…

Finn Balor wins by pinfall with Coup de Grace.

Back from the break and we see Finn Balor and Bray Wyatt brawling backstage. Officials are trying to break it up. Kurt Angle appears and tells them to save it for SummerSlam. Balor doesn’t want to wait. Angle tells them SummerSlam is coming early if they don’t want to wait. The match will happen tonight.

Finn Bálor vs. Bray Wyatt

We go to the ring and out first comes Bray Wyatt. We go to commercial.

Back from the break and Wyatt waits for his opponent. This is another match that was originally scheduled for Sunday. The music hits and out comes Finn Balor.

The bell rings and they go at it. Balor unloads with knee strikes and applies a headlock. Wyatt charges in the corner but misses. Wyatt turns upside down and charges again. More back and forth between the two. Wyatt misses in the corner again and Balor nails an enziguri. Wyatt drops Balor on the apron with a right hand. Wyatt keeps control and drops Balor again, stopping to pose for a mixed reaction.

Wyatt takes his time working Balor over, talking some trash. Balor gets up and fires away, sending Wyatt to the floor through the second rope. Balor with a dropkick to the floor, knocking Wyatt back. Balor floors Wyatt again from the apron and stands tall as we go to commercial.

Back from the break and Wyatt has Balor grounded. Wyatt keeps control and drives Balor’s ribs into his knee for another pin attempt. Wyatt with more offense and another pin attempt after a big clothesline as the frustration starts to show. Balor fights to his feet but Wyatt decks him. Balor connects with the overhead kick and they both go down.

Balor connects with several moves in a row and looks to finally make his comeback. Balor with the dropkick to the head. Balor runs into a boot. Balor drops Wyatt with a running kick for a 2 count. They run the ropes but Wyatt launches himself at Balor and covers for another 2 count. Wyatt goes for the Uranage but Balor counters. Balor hits a Slingblade.

Balor waits for Wyatt to get up. Wyatt side-steps the dropkick and nails a senton for a 2 count. Wyatt ends up doing the upside down taunt in the corner before going for Sister Abigail. Balor blocks it and hits a double stomp. Wyatt goes to the floor for a breather. Balor follows and dropkicks Wyatt into the barrier. Balor brings it back into the ring and goes to the top. Wyatt crotches him. Wyatt drags Balor off the top and hits Sister Abigail in the middle of the ring for the pin.

Winner: Bray Wyatt

After the match, Wyatt takes it all in as his music hits and we go to replays. Wyatt stands over Balor and smiles. He looks down as Balor is grabbing his ankle. Wyatt lifts Balor and nails another Sister Abigail. Wyatt stands over Balor with his arms out and tells us to follow the buzzards. The graphics flash and the lights go out. The lights hit again and Wyatt is in the ring. Balor is down in the corner. Wyatt has a bucket of something red. Wyatt says this is what happens when you send a boy into the devil’s world. Wyatt pours blood all over Balor. Balor rolls around in the red liquid as Wyatt sits in the corner smiling, singing. We go to commercial.

We are back and we see what happened after the Finn Balor and Bray Wyatt match when a viscous, acidic substance was poured on Finn Balor.

Back from the break and Charly Caruso stops Finn Balor coming out of Kurt Angle’s locker room. Charly asks what the meeting was all about. Balor says he spoke to Angle and got his rematch with Wyatt at SummerSlam. Balor says Wyatt has his demons but he will find out at SummerSlam that Balor has his demons as well. It looks like Demon Balor is coming to SummerSlam.

Commentary recaps the Balor/Wyatt interaction from last week and we see Finn backstage getting his jacket on and walking, he’ll be doing stuff after the break.

Back from commercial, Finn Balor makes his entrance.

Finn greets Toronto and says this is Balor Club, and Too Sweets the crowd in response to their chant of the same. He asks if everybody saw him kick Bray Wyatt’s teeth down his neck last week, and that’s hard because everybody knows Bray loves to talk. He’s gotta be honest, Wyatt gives him the creeps.

He strikes Finn as the kind of person that cares less about winning and losing and more about hurting people or having them fear him, but if there’s one thing he’s learned in life, it’s that when fear comes knocking you stand up and kick fear in the face. So, Bray, a little advice– the next time you want to come at Finn, you’d better not miss.

Whether it’s at SummerSlam or here tonight, whatever he wants to start, Balor will finish.

(Wyatt noise.)

When the lights come back up, Bray is in the middle of the ring as Finn is perched on the turnbuckles. Charging in, up and over, Finn sidesteps the charge and lands a kick to the face! Sling blade follows, Balor sizes him up…

(Wyatt noise.)

This time Finn finds himself alone in the ring as Wyatt laughs from the tron. He says he can tell why the people like Finn so much, because when he flies, they fly. But when he rips Balor from the heavens they’ll all fall down with him. Run.
